Staci announces the opening of a new 9,350 m² warehouse just 10km outside of Warsaw in Poland. The new site opening is a strategic milestone in Staci’s international expansion, further underscoring its commitment to servicing customers in their key markets.

Following Staci’s incorporation into bpostgroup, the company’s “Think Global, Act local” logistics services are now available in Poland. This means that Staci is now able to meet the duplication and go-to-market strategy needs of its international customers. The 9,350 m2 BREEAM-certified Staci Poland warehouse is located in a dynamic cluster of logistics and transport centres close to Warsaw.

Borderless supply chain expertise

Staci intends to duplicate its unrivalled retail logistics knowhow in Poland, particularly in communication and marketing materials, POS displays, and POS network event planning and equipment. Our digital solutions, fully- traceable logistics flows and tailored transport solutions are already operational in the country. The Business Expert teams are standing by.

“Our ambition is to allow our customers to access our highly-competitive tried-and-tested supply chain model in a large number of European countries and in the USA. Our customers and prospects have been asking us to enter this dynamic territory for years. We are delighted to be able to fulfil their expectations,” says Staci CEO Thomas Mortier.

Opening of a new 20,000 sqm logistics site in Silvano Pietra, Pavia in Italy, located in the beating heart of the large Giovi Logistics Park complex.

Thus, the number of warehouses managed by Staci Italia becomes over 83,000 square meters, a symbol of our growing presence in the sector and constant commitment to operational excellence.

With Giorgio Fontana and his entire team at the forefront, we are already working to ensure that these spaces soon become the new point of reference for logistical efficiency and innovation.

This new space was one of Franco Birolo’s most frequent thoughts and he tried to give shape to his project until the end; for this reason we have decided that the warehouse for all of us will be called the Franco Birolo Logistics Center.

Multichannel logistics expert Staci is developing its international reach into a new continent, as following years of growth in Europe and the United States, the group is launching in Asia with the creation of its subsidiary Staci Asia Pacific Limited, based in Hong Kong.

Since 2010, Staci has been helping its customers to expand internationally by opening subsidiaries or making acquisitions across Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK and the USA.

Today, the logistics specialist is further expanding its international positioning by setting up operations on the Asian continent, with three warehouses to deliver in the APAC region.

Thomas Mortier, CEO of Staci, said of this major international development

We took the decision to set up in Asia in response to requests from many of our customers to be able to provide them with the same service that we already provide in all European countries and the USA. We will be delivering in the APAC region from three warehouses in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Shanghai. This move into Asia means that we can now cover three continents and meet our customers’ strong CSR expectations by bringing their stocks as close as possible to where the point of distribution.

Staci Group, a leading multichannel fulfillment platform, has closed the acquisition of Amware Fulfillment, a US fulfillment company providing omni-channel and customized logistics solutions to direct-to-consumer, e-commerce and retail businesses. With this acquisition, Staci reaches a critical size in the United States where the group settled back in March 2019, with the opening of a first warehouse in Jersey City.

Expanding its US footprint is at the core of Staci’s strategy. Following Amware’s acquisition, Staci’s US branch will now be able to reach 98% of the US territory in 2 days via ground transportation, relying on its 800+ employees and 18 strategically located warehouses for a total of 2,400k+ square feet. On top of expanding geographically Staci’s reach, Amware will also allow Staci to keep developing its presence in e-commerce logistics and to keep strengthening in dynamic verticals such as the Health & Wellness.

The combined group will represent €740m ($790m) of revenues and will rely on a global network of 81 fulfillment centers, +4,000 employees, a stronger exposure to high-growing end markets as well as reinforced omnichannel capabilities. The United States is now the group’s leading geography with approximately 30% of revenues.

Staci Group is an independent and flexible international logistics specialist. Staci has developed a wide range of innovative and tailor-made logistics services to address their customers’ evolving needs as well as the rise of multi-channel distribution. Staci is headquartered in Saint-Ouen-L’Aumône (France) and is controlled by Ardian, alongside the managers and Société Générale Capital Partenaires.

With the acquisition, Staci Group will replace Rotunda Capital Partners, which has been an investor in Amware Fulfillment since 2014.

Harry Drajpuch, CEO of Amware Fulfillment is thrilled with this new development “In the current market for fulfillment services, it’s rare to find a provider that combines significant size and scale with a more personalized, collaborative approach to solution design. That’s the unique value the Staci-Amware union brings – robust, high-volume fulfillment and parcel shipping solutions that are also highly customized.”

Thomas Mortier, CEO of Staci Group is looking forward to expanding his organization: “We wish a warm welcome to the Amware team. The combination of our strengths and know-how is a fantastic opportunity to continue the development and growth of both companies in the USA with a network of warehouses that now enable us to cover the whole country from East to West.”
